Maximum use made of the opportunities presented at the world’s leading trade fair - Duravit presents armada of new products

The world’s large leading trade fair for sanitaryware, heating and air-conditioning technology took place in Frankfurt last week. Exhibitors included Hornberg-based bathroom manufacturer, Duravit, with an armada of new, design-oriented bathroom concepts and technical innovations. The new product range comprises a total of 14 new projects, including three new design lines. The German-Russian architect, Sergei Tchoban, designed Esplanade, the first opulent bathroom range to be included in the Duravit programme. Designer Matteo Thun’s philosophy behind his Onto range is the “beauty of economy”. With Darling New, the new edition of the Darling bathroom range, Sieger Design builds on the successful concept of “lots of design for a little money”. www.duravit.com

DURAVIT DESIGN CENTER

Exceptional in form and content: the new Duravit Design Center in Hornberg. The new trapeze-shaped building with its distinctive giant toilet as an observation platform – designed by French star designer Philippe Starck – is leading the Duravit brand into a whole new dimension. Superbly presented, individually conceived exhibition areas, including six in-house test bathrooms, inspire visitors from around the globe: "Living Bathrooms" as conceived by Duravit. At the same time, the Duravit Design Center is a magnet for all sanitaryware dealers, architects and planners.

AT ONE TIME JUST A TREND…NOW THE BATH WOULD BE UNIMAGINABLE WITHOUT.

Today, console basins are an attractive and modern alternative to the wall-mounted washbasin. Duravit console basins are available in many different styles and variations. They can be combined with countertops in a wide variety of materials, including wood, glass and natural stone, and can be matched with Duravit consoles and vanity units. Like the Duravit built-in washbasins, they can also be ground flat (in an extra post-manufacture step) so that they sit flush on the given surface.

A beautiful bathroom is like a holiday. There is something new to experience every day.

Holidays are like all beautiful moments in life – they are over far too quickly. What wouldn’t you give to have somewhere you could escape to for a mini break – even several times a day?
Somewhere you go in order to relax, refresh yourself and just to feel good. A spa for the home where you can enjoy beneficial water and wellness treatments. A dream bathroom that, with ultimate fusion of aesthetics and practicality, makes life a little more comfortable – and that can be as relaxing and refreshing as a mini break. And if that isn’t enough: compared with holiday memories that will inevitably fade, Duravit washing areas, WCs, bathtubs and furniture offer one crucial advantage: they are here to stay.
This is thanks to the extraordinary high quality, high-end materials, careful manufacture and, last but not least, timeless design of Duravit products.
